We founded Togetherhood because we saw first hand how difficult and complex it was to find high quality enrichment options for our three children. We felt like we were constantly researching different options, in search of trusted, recommended providers; constantly trying to find spaces in classes that worked for our children's schedules; and constantly taking one of our children to an activity. Togetherhood is designed to solve these problems, to deliver convenient, high quality children's enrichment.
In Togetherhood, we've created a safe and secure community where your children can explore different areas of interest to discover their passions. We partner with the best independent teaching artists and coaches in New York City who are not only passionate about their craft, but also about sharing the values they've learned from their craft with the children they teach.

The Togetherhood platform has been built to serve passionate, entrepreneurial enrichment providers who have started or aspire to start their own business. We seek teaching artists and coaches that are passionate about their craft, about working with children and about sharing the values their craft has taught them with the children in their classes.
The Togetherhood platform empowers them to run their own business by removing the major obstacles to starting a business and building a customer base. It handles all of the business management so that the enrichment provider has the time and energy to focus on their passion: creating great programming for children.
We work closely with each provider to ensure that their courses are experiences that stick with a child for a lifetime, rather than classes that occupy a child’s afternoon.

EXPERT ACADEMIC NURSING ADVISOR
Donna Hallas, Program Director of the NYU Department of Pediatric Nursing, consulted with us to create our safety operations plan.
ON CALL PEDIATRIC NURSE
Dr. Mary Koslap-Petraco is our on call pediatric nurse. She is a nursing professor at Stony Brook University, served on the Suffolk County Department of Public Health for 30 year, and runs her own private nursing practice. She is on call for Togetherhood teaching artists, coaches and children.
COMMUNITY COORDINATORS
We have a large pool of community coordinators whose role is to assist teaching artists and coaches. They focus on class management so that the teaching artist/coach can focus on their craft.
