I am 28 years old, and I was born and raised in Queens, NY but have a Colombian & Peruvian background. I am extremely passionate about sports, primarily soccer and football. My favorite soccer teams are FC Barcelona (Spain) and Atletico Nacional (Colombia), and my favorite football team is the New York Giants. My favorite soccer player and idol is Lionel Messi, who recently won the World Cup (woo-hoo!!). I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and played competitively until I tore my ACL at the age of 20. I still play sports with friends and family however and my friends and I actually play at least once a month amongst ourselves. I am currently finishing my bachelor's degree in secondary physical education at Queens College. I would like to become a physical education teacher, while coaching in my spare time on the weekends and hopefully weekday afternoons. My goal is to help develop every child I work with into the best athlete and human they can possibly be.
