Allesandra Macbeth Mossa an artist since birth, her full name being a work of art in itself. Coming from a family where each individual pursues a creative passion, it was without question her career path. Exposure and accessibility to a myriad of mediums and methods allowed her to find her niche of printmaking at the University of Connecticut. Acknowledged with the Dean’s Award in 2011, she went on to travel abroad in search of textile design outlets and deeper knowledge of art history. For the next ten years, Allesandra primarily used her energy to perfect Apple’s store front merchandising in Manhattan. Though technology fueled the creative industry, she was only fulfilled when engaged with analog art experiences that activated her senses. She was eager to spread that joy and solace, thus pursuing a Masters of Education from Manhattanville College. Since 2022, Allesandra is a vivacious spirit in the classroom. Her students inspire her craft as much a she promotes their imaginations. Her goal in special education is to empower and encourage authenticity.
