Hello! My name is Brooke and I'm a Brooklyn based 3D artist that recently graduated from Pratt Institute. I find passion in lighting and rendering, as well as all things CG, and feel enthusiastic about bringing life to images and other forms media. I love teaching animation to kids and watching them become inspired and passionate about the art they create. I lead with their ideas, and let them translate their ideas and stories from ideation to final creation. Perfection is not sought after, and techniques are not stressed or firmly taught. I believe that the most fun and creative part of animation comes in enjoying the process rather then stressing over perfection. That is what I aim to bring to the classroom. I show examples from their favorite Disney or pixar films, and explain how they can create their own story. I teach the pipeline of animation used in the industry in a way that is easy to digest and understand, and help them implement it in their own projects. There’s no wrong way to do anything in my space, there’s only room to create something exciting and something that makes them happy.
