Hugo Brument is a dancer, choreographer and director from Paris, France. He has trained in musical theatre at Jacobs Pillow, Broadway Dance Center and Rick Odums School.
Recently, Hugo has been part of the cast of the world premiere of On Your Feet! La historia de Emilio y Gloria Estefan, en español! Other regional credits includes West Side Story, Hello Dolly!, Singin in the rain. Additionally, Hugo worked closely with his mentor Chet Walker on pre-production workshop of The Last Scrapbook, a musical about the life of Hollywood choreographer Jack Cole.
Hugo Brument performs as well on the commercial scene and has been seen as a dancer and associate choreographer for the 2018 ankle pants commercial of the Japanese Brand Uniqlo. He also worked for Disney Cruise Line and was a back up dancer for the Grammy winning Haitian Band Enposib. Hugo enjoys as well choreographing and directing. He is currently associate artistic director of Misty Dance Theatre, a company recently seen on France Got Talent.
Last but not least, Hugo writes and directs films. His movies « Social-Security » and “Comme un Boomerang” are currently presented in film festivals around the globe. “Social-Security” recently received the award for best film at the Wayside Film Festival. In life, Hugo enjoys football (the real one …played with feet), is a PSG fan, likes literature and write for the French Musical Magazine “Regard en Coulisse” .
