Hello! My name is Miriam. I like to be called Coach Miriam or Coach M. I’m 29 years old. I’m bicultural and bilingual born and raised in NYC. I’m Dominican and Peruvian. I have a bachelors degree in psychology. My passion for gymnastics started when I was in high school. I’ve been teaching gymnastics for over 12 years. I’ve taught at gyms in New Jersey and New York City. I love watching children grow and develop physically and mentally through gymnastics. My favorite age group is toddlers 3-5 and parent and child classes. I have experience teaching classes, private lessons, and birthday with children ages 3-16. Throughout my gymnastics career I’ve also had experience with office work such as scheduling classes, taking payments, talking to parents, etc. I take pride in training and hiring coaches as well! Every chance I get, where ever I am, I love spreading the word and knowledge about how good gymnastics is for people of all ages.
