I am a professional musician and music teacher with eight years of teaching experience in music schools and my own studio. I've taught classes in group piano, music theory, composition, and conducting. As a musician, I've enjoyed leading choir rehearsals and accompanying a wide variety of instruments, as well as soloing with and conducting orchestras. I love working with students of all ages and levels, and my main goal as a teacher is fostering a love of music in every student. I am currently a graduate student at Columbia University studying Music and Music Education, and I graduated from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music with a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance and a minor in Russian Language and Culture. I also completed a one-year certificate program at Salem College in injury-preventive keyboard technique. In 2015, I was a participant in Yale University's "Fundamentals of Teaching Music" workshop series, and I have also studied conducting at Yale.
