I am Devante Owens and I have been teaching theater, games, and Shakespeare for the better part of a decade. I have a deep passion for enlivening students to whatever makes them happiest- whether that is cooking the perfect dish or defeating their arch-nemesis in Dungeons and Dragons! When creative joy meets academic joy, we create a lifelong learner. I have a special interest in theater education, specifically Shakespeare, and how creativity flourishes when it is given an artistic outlet. I am also an actor and have been acting professionally for the past eight years.
